KSDBKL FINALLY FALL TO MALAYSIA POLYTECHNIC

​MRSL: KSDBKL 20 - MALAYSIA POLYTECHNIC 24

Malaysia Polytechnic stunned KSDBKL with 24-20 win in a hard fought match at UKM rugby field on Sunday. Vatiliai Tora put KSDBKL ahead in the eighth minute through penalty while Malaysia Polytechnic fought back to take charge through Muhamad Izzuddin Moharam try followed by Mohd Amir Aswad conversion three minutes later. 


​​KSDBKL not giving up easily as Vatiliai Tora managed to break Malaysia Polytechnic defense and settle it with a try while Aisea Aruma add two more points through conversion in 16th minutes. Mohd Amir Aswad replied back for Malaysia Polytechnic with two penalties to end the first half of the game with 13-10 .

Seven minutes after the restart, Mohd Amir Aswad stretched the lead through penalty and both team hold the game well until Mohd Akmal Abdullah reducing the deficit for KSDBKL with a superb try in 49th minutes. The City Boys look exhausted and they was so unfortunate after Zulhelmi Ibrahim were handed straight red card in 64t minutes due to dangerous tackle. 

​Mohd Amir Aswad once again become a thorn in the flesh for KSDBKL after the full back grabbed another penalty while Muhammad Syaifullah Alias nailed the game with a try in 75th minutes to gives Malaysia Polytechnic a comfort lead with 24-15.

Two of the Malaysia Polytechnic players were later handed yellow cards and Mazlie Maidinsha took the opportunity to reduce the deficit for KSDBKL with a try. Though, it could not stop Malaysia Polytechnic from collecting full points from the match.
