COBRA FALLS TO SSTMI IN MRSL

​Defending champion SSTMI Tsunami beat rugby powerhouse COBRA 60-19 to earn three value points at UPM rugby fields on Saturday .

It only took SSTMI boys two minutes from the start to take charge after Mohamad Nur Azri bin Azmi open the score with a try and conversion to gave the southern's an early lead with seven points. Five minutes later Amirul Mukminin Bin Amizan stretched the gap with a try followed by conversion by Muhamad Faizal Md Tahir to gave SSTMI 14-0 lead.

​​Sae Faalupega reduce the deficit with a try while Muhamad Izzat Laila complete the cycle with a conversion minute later for COBRA to trail the game with 7-14.

Muhamad Faizal put a cheer in SSTMI camp with a penalty while Faat Hor Rozi bin Ismail tries put SSTMI in comfort with 22-7 before Mohamad Aidil Ramadhan Romli reduce the gap for COBRA with a try to end the first half with 22-12.

​The second half resumes and SSTMI showed no mercy to Cobra after Mohd Ikhwan Ikmal bin Zulkipli just need three minutes to hits with a try followed by Muhamad Faizal conversion to ensures the Southern Tigers taking the lead with 30-12 before COBRA reduce the deficit to 30-19 with Sae Faalupega tries and Mohd Izzat Laila conversion five minutes later.

SSTMI double up the scores from Muhamad Faizal, Mohd Khairul Azhar bin Md Noor and Mohamad Nur Azmi tries followed by a Faat Hor Rozi and Muhamad Faizal conversion which ensures SSTMI bags another big victory at Serdang in 2015 Malaysia Rugby Super League match.
