Malaysia sealed their place in the Asean Football Federation Championship semifinals after a 3-0 win over Myanmar . The victory ensures the Harimau Malaya to join the tournament's last four alongside favourites Vietnam . Malaysia get off to a winning start in the AFF Suzuki Cup when they beat Cambodia 1-0 at the National Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh today. Norshahrul Idlan Talaha turned out as hero for the Harimau Malaya with the solitary goal in the 30th minute. Malaysia who had beaten Cambodia 3-2 in the previous AFF Cup meeting, ranked 169 in the world while Cambodia are at 170. The visitors had a difficult time in the first ten minutes, but settled down as the match progressed. With five attacking players in Tan Cheng Hoe 's line-up, Malaysia were determined to get a win in Cambodia. Norshahrul finally found the net on the half-hour mark to put Malaysia in front. Cambodia came back stronger after the break. They increased the tempo in search for an equaliser. But Malaysia defended solidly to keep the score until the final whistle.
