SCHUMACHER IN COMA AFTER SKIING ACCIDENT

Michael Schumacher was reported to be in a coma in hospital on Sunday night after striking his head on a rock while skiing in the French Alps. The retired seven-times Formula One racing champion was initially said to have escaped without a life threatening injury but French media later reported that he had suffered a cerebral haemorrhage and that his condition had dramatically worsened. According to the hospital, Schumacher, 44 was in a coma when he arrived at the hospital on Sunday afternoon. Eminent French orthopaedic and trauma surgeon Gerard Saillant flew from Paris to Grenoble to take charge of his treatment. The German motorsports legend fell on Sunday while skiing off-piste with his 14-year-old son and friends at Meribel, where he owns a chalet. He was due to celebrate his 45th birthday on Friday. CHELSEA SENDS LIVERPOOL OUT OF TOP FOUR

Premier League: Chelsea 2 – Liverpool 1 Chelsea maintained just 2 points behind the Premier League leader after sending Liverpool to fifth position in a match at Stamford Bridge yesterday. The 2-1 victory was enough for Jose Mourinho to ensure their title challenge is still on the right track. John Terry became the fourth player in history to have played 600 games for the Blues. Martin Skrtel 's close-range finish gave Liverpool a third-minute lead, but Chelsea's response was swift and decisive. Man-of-the-match Eden Hazard curled home a fine goal to equalize in the 17th minute, before Samuel Eto'o got a toe to a low cross from Oscar that Simon Mignolet could only help into the net 11 minutes before halftime. MBPJ-KSK TIED IN FRIENDLY

Friendly Match: MBPJ 2 - KSK 2 A good performance was shown at MBPJ Stadium after the KSKUOB manage to get a draw result against the mighty MBPJ Veterans on Wednesday. Fielded with experienced players like Azrin Shah Zainal and sports pundits Zainal Abidin Rawop, the MBPJ looks solid in the midfields and attacking. The Veterans opened the scoring with a beautiful strike from Azman after receiving a through pass from Khalid. They dominated the match in first half with short passes and counter attacks. After making a few changes for the second half, the KSKUOB team manages to outplay the MBPJ Veterans. KSKUOB finally got an equalizer when Hasedee Mat Esa found the net after a good one-two play with Mohammad Zurin .  The visitors gained more confidence after the goal. MALAYSIA HEADS INTO SEMIFINAL

SEA Games 2013: Malaysia 2 - Vietnam 1 Malaysia qualified to the 2013 SEA Games semifinal after defeating Vietnam in a very close match at the Zeyer Thiri Stadium in Myanmar. Vietnam needed a win to earn a spot in the last four dominated possession but failed to break the never say die Malaysian squad. Goalkeeper Mohd Izham Tarmizi was at his best to deny all Vietnam's attempts. Both team went into the break tied 0-0. Vietnam came back into the second half hunting for the winning goal. They keep the pressure on Malaysia most of the time. However, Malaysia shocked the Vietnam's camp in the 82nd minute when Ashri Chuchu found the net. It was a relief for Ong Kim Swee 's squad who needed just a draw to qualify for the semifinal stage. The goal killed Vietnam's spirit and Malaysia raised their game. D. GARCIA CLAIMS HIS FIRST VICTORY IN 2013

Sergio Garcia claimed his first win in 2013 after he shot a final round of 68 to win the Thailand Golf Championship on Sunday. The 33-year-old Spaniard, carded six birdies and two bogeys to finish on 22 under par, four strokes ahead of world No 3 Henrik Stenson . The victory at the Amata Spring Country Club in Chonburi is Garcia's first in a year with his last win coming at the Johor Open , an Asian Tour event in Malaysia last December. Sweden's Stenson, who recently made history when he became the first player to win the Race to Dubai and the FedEx Cup , matched Garcia's 68 in his final round for a closing total of 18-under. SEA Games 2013: Malaysia 36 - Cambodia 0 The Malaysian women's hockey team were in full power when they crushed Cambodia 36-0 for their second win in 2013 SEA Games at the Thein Phyu Stadium in Yangon yesterday. It is also believed that the full time score is a new world hockey record. According to planetfieldhockey.com , the previous world record of biggest score margin was recorded in Santiago, Chile, on March 23, 2003 when Argentina defeated Peru 26-0 at the South American Women's Championships . At average, the Malaysians scored a goal in less than every 2 minutes yesterday. Noor Hasliza Ali was the top scorer for the team side with six goals, while Nuraini Abdul Rashid and Fazillah Silin both contributed five goals each in the rout. SEA Games 2013: Malaysia 4 - Laos 1 Ahmad Hazwan Bakri scored a hat-trick and helped Malaysia to cruise with a convincing 4-1 victory over Laos at Zayar Thiri Stadium in Naypyitaw yesterday. Malaysia opened the scoring in the 6th minute from through Ahmad Hazwan effort but failed to display a good performance in the first half. Laos equalised in the 40th minute when K. Reuben headed a Souk Aphone Vongchiengkham free kick into his own net. Both sides were tied at 1-1 until the break.   The Young Tigers returned to the pitch with improved characters. Marc Marquez has become the youngest MotoGP champion as a third-place finish at the season-ending Valencia Grand Prix secured him the 2013 world title in his rookie year. SEA Games 2013: Malaysia 2 - Brunei 0 Malaysia opened their SEA Games 2014 campaign with a win over Brunei in Myanmar today.  The defending gold medalist missed an opportunity to get an early goal after Rozaimi Abdul Rahman failed to head in from a free header in front of Brunei's goal. Not long after that Brunei came back threatening the Malaysian defence as Adi Said missed two golden opportunities. Hideki Matsuyama has become the first rookie to claim the Japanese tour's money title with a win at the Casio World Open . Matsuyama turned pro in April and has won five tournaments on the Japanese tour this season. In seven PGA Tour-sanctioned events, Matsuyama has six top-25 finishes. He plans to compete on the PGA Tour in 2014. Matsuyama shot a 70 in the final round Sunday at Kochi Kuroshio Country Club to finish at 12-under 276, one stroke ahead of Yuta Ikeda . MALAYSIA IN THE RIGHT FORM FOR SEA GAMES

INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY: MALAYSIA 3 - FC RYUKYU 1 The Malaysia Under-23 squad had a perfect motivation ahead of the Myanmar SEA Games after defeating FC Ryukyu 3-1 in their final friendly match at the Kelana Jaya Stadium last night. The visitors stunned the home crowd with an opening goal from Shunta Takahashi in the 14th minute. The Young Tigers tried to find the equaliser but they couldn't find the right tune. FC Ryukyu led 1-0 at half-time. Malaysia came back into the second half with a stronger attitude. Captain Irfan Fazail and Nazmi Faiz played a perfect combination in the midfield, and Thamil Arasu grabbed an equaliser just two minutes after the break heading in a cross from K.Reuben . SCHWARTZEL WINS ALFRED DUNHILL CHAMPIONSHIP AGAIN

Charl Schwartzel retained his Alfred Dunhill Championship title with final round of 68. His steady play earned him a four-shot victory over nearest challenger, England's Richard Finch at Leopard Creek . Schwartzel started the day with a two-shot lead but Finch turned up the heat and close to within a shot at the turn. However the former Masters champion made his third four-under round of 68 of the week to close on 17-under par and enjoy a four-shot victory over Finch. Schwartzel is always comfortable at Leopard Creek and plotted his way around the back nine with just one birdie whilst Finch floundered with a bogey and a double in four holes effectively ending his challenge. ICG FOOTBALL: KSKUOB 7 - UBRC 1 Malaysia's club KSKUOB delivered a sweet revenge after a 7-1 win over Singapore's UBRC in the annual Inter Club Games at Hang Jebat Stadium in Melaka last Saturday. The Singapore side won 1-0 in a controversial match at Hang Tuah Stadium last year.  KSKUOB manager, Ariffin Ideris named an experience squad this year with four players from Pulau Pinang and Kedah . Faisol Bidin was called back from retirement to strenghten the defence and inspire the team. KSKUOB didn't take long to open the scoring in the second minute from Mohd Ayub . Chris Kirk knew he was doing enough right Sunday at Sea Island to win a tournament that means so much to him. He just didn't realize it would take something that went so wrong for Briny Baird . Tied for the lead in The McGladrey Classic , Kirk was on the other side of the 18th fairway trying to envision an approach that would cover the flag and set up a birdie chance for the win. Those plans changed when Baird, with the ball below his feet in a fairway bunker, topped a 4-iron and watched his ball roll 90 yards and into a hazard. Kirk played for par, closed with a 4-under 66 for a one-shot victory, and became the first player from Sea Island to win The McGladrey Classic, even if the 28-year-old moved to Atlanta a few months ago after six years in this tiny slice of paradise. ICG TABLE TENNIS: KSKUOB 6 - UBRC 3 It was a moment of truth for the KSKUOB Table Tennis team after winning an epic battle from a three points down to claim a 6-3 victory over Singapore's UBRC at Inter Club Games ( ICG ) in Melaka on Saturday. The Malaysian side had loss to the same opponent in last year's ICG. The win at the Melaka Squash Centre was an unexpected one based on the team preparations before the tournament. After losing a number of key players since July, team manager Ken Choo did not promised a win in table tennis. However, the fighting spirit overcame the nervousness. The confident UBRC team took a clean 3 points lead from their single players through Henrik Ong, Mike Tan and Justin.  KSK pulled back 2 points from Simon Tan and Voon Pak Ching . MALAYSIA CUP FINAL: KELANTAN 0 - PAHANG 1 A goal by Mathias Conti was enough for Pahang to lift the prestigious  Malaysia Cup after 21-year wait. The Elephants entered the final as the underdogs but they completed their 2013 season with a victory over defending champions Kelantan 1-0 in a pulsating final. VETTEL CLINCHES FOURTH WORLD TITLE

Sebastian Vettel wins his fourth consecutive world title with victory at the Indian Grand Prix . The German, 26, had a perfect race in his Red Bull 's machine to secure his sixth consecutive victory this season and become only the fourth man in history to win four titles. The victory put him with legends Juan Manuel Fangio , Alain Prost and Michael Schumacher as a four-time champion. Vettel's Red Bull team also won the Formula 1 constructors' championship for the fourth consecutive year. The triumph keeps Vettel on target to equal the all-time record of nine consecutive F1 race wins. He is six years younger than Schumacher was when he became a four-time champion in 2001 and having good chances of eclipsing his compatriot's record of seven world titles in the coming years. RYAN MOORE CAPTURES CIMB CLASSIC 2013

He set a new course record on the first day at KLGCC with 9-under 63. He was the joint leaders in three out of four days playing in this tournament. No doubt, Ryan Moore is the deserving champions at the 2013 CIMB Classic , even though it has to be decided in a playoff. Ryan Moore and Gary Woodland have to return for a sudden-death playoff on Monday after they completed four rounds at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club tied at 14-under. Moore hit an 8-iron to 3-feet. After Woodland's chip from just off the green came up short, Moore made his birdie putt to secure his third PGA Tour victory. At 30 years, 10 months and 21 days, Moore is the youngest winner in the history of the event and the fourth consecutive winner in his 30s at the CIMB Classic joining Ben Crane , Bo Van Pelt and Nick Watney . It is also his 40th career top-10 finish and the result moves him up to number 2 in the FedExCup leaderboard.  Monday was also Gary Woodland's second career runner-

IT'S PAHANG - KELANTAN FINAL!

MALAYSIA CUP: SARAWAK 1(2) - PAHANG 1(4) Pahang qualified to the 2013 Malaysia Cup Final with a 4-2 aggregate win over Sarawak on Saturday night. Both team were tied 1-1 in the second leg match at the Stadium Negeri , Kuching. However, Pahang had the advantage after winning 3-1 in Kuantan last week.   Sarawak players were in control on their home pitch. Bobby Gonzales opened the scoring for Sarawak in the 32nd minute. But, the hunt for more goals was never stop. Though, Pahang defended well to keep the score until the break. The second half saw Sarawak continued their attacking play against the visitors. But Pahang was hard to break, and they got the equaliser in the 74th minute when Fauzi Roslan found the net. Pahang held on with the result which send them to the final match against Kelantan at the Shah Alam Stadium on 3rd November. WOODLAND AND MOORE TIED FOR PLAY-OFF

After four days of great golf, the 2013 CIMB Classic is not over yet. Two players were tied with 14-under and have to play the sudden-death playoff on a fifth day. Gary Woodland carded 3-under 69 on on Sunday, while Ryan Moore carded 2-under 70 to make them tied at 274.  The fourth day at  Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club is the most challenging day in the CIMB Classic history. The day started sunny, before the play was delayed at 1.22pm due to a dangerous situation and heavy rain with 45 players still on the course. The back nine was filled with suspense as the names atop the leaderboard kept shuffling up and down. Players were back on the ground at 4.27pm, but the play was suspended again for a second time at 5.20pm due to an additional dangerous situation with nine players on the course. SPANISH PRIMERA DIVISIÓN: BARCELONA 2 - REAL MADRID 1 Barcelona sinks Real Madrid for the first El Clasico for 2013-2014 seasons. Barca shows Real Madrid that they are still the favorites to win the La Liga title by beating Carlo Anceloti 's superstar 2 – 1 at Nou Camp today. Barcelona new wonder boy, Neymar open an account for his first El Classico match in 19 minutes after receiving a thru pass from Andreas Iniesta on a left side which has beaten Real Madrid defender before the ball was deflected and went straight at the corner of the net. A minute later, Messi almost make it 2-0 after his shot just miss the post with only left the goal keeper to beat. STROUD, MOORE SHARE TOP SPOT AT CIMB CLASSIC

Chris Stroud shot a third-round 4-under-par 68 to move into a tie for the lead at 12-under with Ryan Moore in the CIMB Classic at KLGCC , Kuala Lumpur. Playing in his 194th career event on the PGA Tour , this is the first time that Stroud has led or shared the lead through 54 holes. Moore started the day with 9 under opened up a three-shot lead on the back nine only to bogey four of five holes to give it right back. Both were on 12-under 204. Stroud, who was five strokes behind overnight leader Keegan Bradley after the second round, surged into contention after five birdies on the front nine before hitting into the water on the 12th hole and carding two bogeys for a 4-under 68. Though, the score is pretty close as both leaders are closely followed by Gary Woodland  and Kiradech Aphibarnrat who are sharing T3 with 11-under. RED WARRIORS STAGE LATE FIGHTBACK TO ENTER FINAL

MALAYSIA CUP: KELANTAN 2(4) - ATM 2(3) Kelantan proved why they are still the Malaysia powerhouse of football after showing an amazing fightback which took them into the Malaysia Cup final again. The Red Warriors looked dead and buried when ATM's  Marlon Alex James scored 2 goals in the first half of the Malaysia Cup semi final second leg match in Kota Bharu . The goals stunned the 30000 crowd and put Kelantan into a deep pressure. Despite winning 2-1 in the first leg match at Selayang Stadium last week, Kelantan now need to respond with at least 2 goals in the remaining 45 minutes. The CIMB Classic received a surprise spectator on Saturday as Malaysia's Prime Minister Dato' Sri Najib Razak took some of his time to watch the ongoing tournament at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club ( KLGCC ). A tremendous show of putting prowess at Hole 14 by Phil Mickelson , Boo Weekley and Charles Howell III captures the attention of Malaysia's Prime Minister Dato' Sri Najib Razak along with Dato' Sri Nazir Razak , Group Chief Executive, CIMB Group (left) and Tan Sri Dato' Seri Shahril Shamsuddin (centre).
