FELDA UNITED SEND JDT PACKING

PIALA MALAYSIA: JOHOR DT 1 - FELDA UNITED 2 *Felda United win with 3-2 agregate   Johor DT failed to take full advantage of playing at home against Felda United in the second leg match of the Malaysia Cup quarterfinals at Stadium Larkin. Earlier, in the first leg match held at Selayang Stadium both teams were tied at 1-1, where JDT had the advantage of an away goal, and had a better chance to advance into the semifinals. The Fighters was awarded a penalty in the 4th minutes, which Thiago Augusto Fernandes converted to put the team ahead, before the JDT's captain Safiq Rahim scored an equalizing goal in the 50th minute. The Southern Tigers were shocked again by the Irfan Bakti's men, and this time via the Liberian import player, Zah Rahan Krangar , who popped up to score in the 76th minute.   Felda United held on and successfully knocked the Southern Tigers out of the competition with 3-2 aggregate. NS WANDERERS IN THE FINAL AFTER WIN OVER KL SARACENS

NICC: NS WANDERERS 11(14) - KL SARACENS 11(11)   NS Wanderers confirmed their place in the National Inter Club Rugby Championship (NICC) final after defeating KL Saracens in extra-time. Both team were tied with 11-11 score after regular time and had to play in a sudden death extra time to decide the winner. KL Saracens opened the scoring just two minutes after the start with a penalty by Matthew Cole . NS Wanderers had a hard time to break the Saracens defence. However, Ropate Mokuvakaca managed to make a try in the 8th minute to give wanderers the lead. KL Saracens started to pump the pressure on the home side. Cole suddenly broke through for a try in the 33rd minute to give KL Saracens half-time lead with 8-5. NS Wanderers returned for the second half trailing KL Saracens with three points. KASKE SEALS DRAMATIC WIN AT PGM MIDF KLGCC CHAMPIONSHIP

​Janne Kaske of Finland rode on a hot start to win his second Asian Development Tour (ADT) title by five shots at the weather-shortened PGM MIDF KLGCC Championship on Saturday. Kaske opened with four straight birdies before adding four more birdies against one bogey to finish on a superb seven-under-par 64 at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club East course. His winning total of 14-under-par 199 earned him US$8,143 and six valuable Official World Golf Ranking points at the RM200,000 (approximately US$50,000) event which is the penultimate stop on the ADT schedule this year. Kaske's victory propelled him to seventh position on the Order of Merit, two spots away from earning playing rights in the 2016 Asian Tour season with one more tournament to play. He trails fifth placed Masaru Takahashi of Japan by slightly over US$1,800. PIALA MALAYSIA: SELANGOR 1 - SARAWAK 1 *Selangor win with 3-2 agregate   Selangor continued to chase their 33rd Malaysia Cup dream after holding Sarawak to a 1-1 draw last night in Shah Alam Stadium.  With advantage of two away goals in the first leg in Kuching and played in front of their fans, the Red Giants took full advantage to qualify into the last four. Sarawak were ahead in the 22nd minutes with a goal scored by Ashri Chuchu , and Selangor was however equalized 6 minutes later through striker, Afiq Azmi . The score remained until the 90th minutes and the Red Giants booked the semi-final spot after beating Sarawak 3-2 in aggregate.  Selangor will have a tough task in their semi-final match, which they will face the defending champion, Pahang . ISKANDAR RAIDERS IN THE FINAL AFTER AMAZING COMEBACK

NICC: PANTHERS BLOWPIPES 25 - ISKANDAR RAIDERS 29 Iskandar Raiders staged an amazing come back in the National Inter Club Rugby Championship (NICC) semifinals to claim a place in the final. The southern club stunned Panthers Blowpipes after a frustrating first half where the Raiders were down 3-20. Despite taking the lead in the 11th minute through Ulufale Tupu 's penalty, Iskandar Raiders failed to stop the Panthers from making an impact. Panthers Blowpipes responded with a try by Muhammad Hasif Hasim Elias a minute later before Izwan Mohamad scored with the conversion. Jope Qalqumi Qasenivalu stretched the lead with a try in the 24th minutes and Mohamad Iswat Hanif Md Rusof gave his team a comfortable half time advantage with another try in the 40th minute. JDT HOLD FELDA UNITED IN SELAYANG

​PIALA MALAYSIA: FELDA UNITED 1 - JOHOR DT 1 Felda United wasted an opportunity to claim a first leg advantage after being held to a draw by Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) in Selayang yesterday. The Fighters showed a very good performance against the newly crowned AFC Cup Champions. However, both sides could not find the net in the first 45 minutes. Irfan Bakti changed Felda United into a more offensive approach in the second half. Fernandes Thiago Augusto broke the duck after four minutes to give the home side the goal they needed. JDT started to show their true capabilities. Mario Gomez sent in Amirul Hadi zainal in the final twenty minutes to add sparks into the Southern Tigers attack. The substitute finally paid off as Amirul scored the equaliser late in the injury time. SELANGOR TAKE VALUABLE WIN OVER SARAWAK

PIALA MALAYSIA: SARAWAK 1 - SELANGOR 2 Selangor recorded a valuable win in Kuching after beating Sarawak in the Malaysia Cup first leg semi final match. The Red Giants will also carry two away goals when they entertain the Hornbills in Shah Alam this Saturday. The visitor dominated the first half. Ahmad Hazwan Bakri opened the scoring after 35 minutes to give Selangor the lead. Sarawak came on after the break with a goal down. The home side pulled back with a goal by Billy Mehmet in the 59th minute. Selangor did not show any sign of going for a draw. The visitors finally found the net again in the last minute through Muhammad Afiq Azmi . The result means Sarawak will have a mountain to climb in the return leg at shah Alam Stadium. SERDANG ANGELS RETAIN SUPER 8 TITLE

UPM Serdang Angels accomplished their mission in a style by winning the 2015 IPT Super 8 title. The defending champions thrashed MSP Hornets 53-0 at the UPM Stadium on Sunday. The Angels started aggressively and were rewarded after five minutes play when Faat Hot Rozi Ismail scored with a try. The Angels stretched the game with another two tries followed by a conversion, and a penalty to end the first half with a comfortable 20-0 advantage. Second half resumed with MSF Hornets making a few numbers of substitution to strengthen their squad. The home team kept on pumping for more and hit with another five tries, two penalties and a conversion. The score held firm till end and UPM Serdang Angels sealed the second half with 53-0 score to claim the victory. By winning the final, the Angels pocketing RM5000 plus a challenge trophy while UITM Lions claimed the third place after beating UM Blues with 48-13 score earlier before the finals. NATIPONG SAVOURS SURPRISE TRIUMPH AT RESORTS WORLD MANILA MASTERS

Newcomer Natipong Srithong claimed a thrilling one-shot victory at the US$1 million Resorts World Manila Masters on Sunday, becoming the second Thai rookie to win in successive weeks on the Asian Tour . The 22-year-old Natipong, who turned professional in September after winning the individual and team gold medals at the Southeast Asian Games , overcame a four-shot deficit in the final round with a brilliant five-under-par 67 and 15-under-par 273 total at the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club . The young Thai edged out luckless South African Jbe Kruger, who closed with a 71, while overnight leader Hung Chien-yao of Chinese Taipei, who sank a magical hole-in-one, endured a topsy turvy 73 to share third place with countryman Lee Chieh-po, who closed with a 70. PANTHERS BLOWPIPES MARCH INTO LAST FOUR

NICC: PANTHERS BLOWPIPES 37 - NAVY ORCA 10 Panthers Blowpipes cruised into the National Inter Club Rugby Championship after sinking Navy Orca 37-10 in Bangi on Sunday. The Panthers displayed a very convincing performance made six tries throughout the match. Panthers Blowpipes did not wait too long to take control. A try by Jope Kalqumi Qasenivalu after four minutes into the game gave them the lead. Izwan Mohamad doubled the lead with a try in the 31st minute. Orca tried to fight back and got a try in the 33rd minute through Mohd Affandi Abu Samad . However, the Panthers were not shaken at all. They got a well taken penalty by Izwan before Mohamad Iswat Hanif added another try in last minute of the first half. The second half saw Panthers Blowpipes continue to dominate the match. CHANAT SAKULPOLPHAISAN WINS PGM NILAI SPRINGS CHAMPIONSHIP

​Chanat Sakulpolphaisan of Thailand became the 19th first-time Asian Development Tour (ADT) winner this season when he triumphed at the PGM Nilai Springs Championship on Saturday. The 25-year-old shot a four-under-par 67 to win the RM200,000 (approximately US$50,000) ADT event with a score of 18-under-par 266 at the Nilai Springs Golf and Country Club . Jordan Sherratt of Australia finished two shots back as he settled for his second runner-up result this year following a 66. Malcolm Kokocinski (69) of Sweden closed with a 69 to end his campaign in third position, five shots from the winner. Chanat, who held the overnight lead, was flawless in a round of four birdies as he peppered the flags for close range birdies. His longest birdie putt of the day was a 15-footer on the 14th hole. ISKANDAR RAIDERS SEND IIUM MUSTANG OUT OF NICC

NICC: ISKANDAR RAIDERS 31 - IIUM MUSTANGS 5 Iskandar Raiders booked their NICC semifinal berth with a comfortable 31-5 win over IIUM Mustangs . The Mustangs struggled to challenge the home side in Pasir Gudang could only make just one try at the end of the match. Iskandar Raiders opened the scorings with a try in the 21st minute by Rodeoasmera Rosli . They increased their lead before the break with another try by Amirul Adam . As the match resumed for the second half, the home side made a quick impact. JDT, SARAWAK MARCH INTO MALAYSIA CUP QUARTERFINALS

PIALA MALAYSIA: JOHOR DT 1 - SARAWAK 1 Sarawak earned an important point which took them into the quarterfinals of the Malaysia Cup after holding Johor DT in Larkin on Saturday. JDT have already booked their place in the last eight after five wins from five in Group B, JDT took a first half lead thanks to Amirul Hadi Zainal . The wet condition of the pitch made it hard for both team to play their true potential. Amirul Hadi broke the duck in the 39th minute after stealing the ball from Dzulazlan Ibrahim and calmly slotted the ball past Iqbal Suhaimi and into the Sarawak net. Graeme McDowell claimed his first PGA Tour title since April 2013 with victory at the first play-off hole in the OHL Classic in Mexico. The 2010 US Open winner admits the barren run - his last victory anywhere was at the French Open 16 months ago - left him questioning his ability after dropping out of the world's top 50. NICC: NS WANDERERS 37 - RMAF BLACKHAWKS 17 Three times NICC champions NS Wanderers squeezed through to National Inter Club Championship semifinals after thrashing RMAF Blackhawks with a convincing a 37-17 victory in Mantin, yesterday. Muhamad Amirul Aqil was the hero for NS Wanderers after the full back booted three penalties and four conversions in the match. NS Wanderers lead after the first half with 17-3 score through Mohd Azmir Zainal Abidin and Ratu Orisi Racama Vitukawalu tries before Muhamad Amirul scored with two conversions and a penalty. The former champions added another twenty points in the second half through tries by Mohd Amir Shafiq and Mohd Ehsan Manan , followed by Mohd Amirul conversions and penalties. KL SARACENS IN LAST FOUR AFTER NARROW WIN OVER KL TIGERS

NICC: KL SARACENS 14 - KL TIGERS 13 KL Saracens defeated the never-say-die  KL Tigers in the National Inter Club Championship  (NICC) quarterfinal match at Universiti Malaya rugby field on Saturday. The clash between the two Kuala Lumpur's clubs produced a very tight match which saw both teams had the chance to move into the semifinal stage. Saracens took the lead in just after six minutes when Matthew Cole scored a penalty. Tigers replied with a penalty in the 19th minute through Kurt Stocks . But Cole restored KL Saracens advantage as he scored another penalty right before the break. The second half started with KL Tigers trailing the Saracens with 3-6. KRISTOFFER BROBERG CLAIMS FIRST EUROPEAN TITLE AT BMW MASTERS

Kristoffer Broberg of Sweden clinched the BMW Masters on Sunday over American Patrick Reed with a birdie on the first hole of a sudden-death playoff, locking up his first European Tour win. For the second-consecutive week, the European Tour's Final Series was site of a breakthrough victory. Broberg closed with 4-under 68 in the final round of regulation at Lake Malaren Golf Club in China, posting 17-under 271. Reed matched on the heels of a hole-out for eagle from a fairway bunker on the par-5 15th.  However, in the extra session, Broberg shined, blasting a driver off the 471-yard finisher, hitting a second shot that rolled back to within 12 feet of the hole. PERAK TEACHERS WIN SUPER FOURS CRICKET TOURNAMENT

​ Perak Teachers won the Super Fours Cricket Tournament after defeating NSW Otai in Ipoh on Sunday. The Teachers claimed the title after making 96 runs, 2 wickets in 12.5 overs in the final which gave them a deserving 8 wickets victory over the Otais. Taiping Express B defeated Asputra to take the third place. Perak Teachers, P.Kumar was awarded the final's Man of The Match, while Aza Hafran of NSW Otais won the Best Batsman. Ahmad Zubir took the Best Bowler award and Asputra's Nubli Ahmad Yassin was the Best Wicketkeeper.
