TERENGGANU BEAT MELAKA UNITED AT HANG JEBAT STADIUM

LIGA SUPER: MELAKA UNITED 0 - TERENGGANU 3

Terengganu FC maintained their good form in Liga Super this season by claiming their third win of the season. They beat Melaka United 3-0 at the Hang Jebat Stadium on Saturday to stay in pursuit of the league leader, Johor DT.

Melaka failed to shine in front of their home supporters as they could not find the net throughout the match. But Terengganu were quick to settle down with an opener by Tchetche Kipre in the 24th minute. The score remained until the break.

Melaka returned in the second half to find the equalizer. But the Turtles' defence were too hard to break. Kipre scored Terengganu's second goal in the 74th minute, before Lee Tuck added the third in the 80th minute.

Terengganu moved to third place in the Liga Super table, having same points with Pahang. Melaka at 7th place after three wins and three losses, same points with Kedah.
