PKNP FC STUNNED FELDA UNITED TO GRAB SEMIFINALS SLOT

FA CUP: FELDA UNITED 1(2) - PKNP FC 2(2)

PKNP FC sneaked through into the Malaysia FA Cup Semifinals after a 2-1 victory over Felda United. The visitors got two away goals, thanks to Shahrel Fikri Fauzi's brace which had taken them into the last four.

After losing in in the first leg at Batu Kawan, PKNP FC traveled to Jengka to overhaul the 0-1 deficit. They pressed the home side and Shahrel found the net after 15 minutes into the return match.

Wan Zack Haikal regained the advantage for Felda United with a good strike nine minutes later. However, PKNP did not give-up and played well on an unfamiliar ground. Two minutes before the end of the first half, Shahrel beat the goalkeeper again for his second of the night.

Felda United tried to come back in the second half, but PKNP FC held on until the final whistle. A very frustrating night for Felda United as they threw away their advantage on their own pitch. PKNP FC marched into the FA Cup Semifinals for the first time and will face Pahang.
