Johor cruised into the Agong's Cup semifinal after defeating Putrajaya 36-13 on Sunday. The Southern Tigers displayed a solid performance to take control of the quarterfinal match at the UKM Rugby Field.

Ulufale Tupu snatched the lead from Putrajaya in the 13th minute with a try. Mohd Razmi Rozan made no mistake for the conversion. In the 25th minute, Mohd Izwan Abu Bakar pulled Johor away with another try.

However, Putrajaya reduced the deficit with a penalty six minute before the break. As the match resumed, Johor continued to dominate the match. Three consecutive tries by Joshua Barak, and a conversion by Mohd Razmi sent Johor beyond Putrajaya's reach.
