COBRA MARCH INTO THE LAST FOUR

COBRA confirmed their place in the semi final of 2015 Rugby Super League after the rugby powerhouse successfully beat home favorite Serdang Angels 22-8 at UPM Rugby Field in Serdang on Saturday. COBRA took an early lead with Vatimio Rabebe try in 15th minutes followed by Sae Faalupega penalty ten minutes later before Mohamad Syarif Saiful Azwan reduced the deficit for Serdang Angels with a penalty late in the first half.

​The Rugby Powerhouse looses a bit of the grip when Mohamad Faiz Helmi grabbed an equalizer with a try nine minutes after restart. COBRA's coach Khairizal Ali Ahmad was forced to makes a few changes in the lineups and the tactics. 

​COBRA started to generate the game positively and increased their game with three tries a courtesy of Mohammad Amin Jamaluddin in 54th minute followed by Mohammad Syahir Asraf in 62nd minute. Mohammad Izwan Abu Bakar sealed the victory for COBRA five minutes before the end and erased the Angels' dream of making through to the last four. COBRA will face Group A champions, UITM in the semis.
