KEDAH EDGE PKNS IN SEVEN GOALS THRILLER

LIGA SUPER: PKNS FC 3 - KEDAH 4

Kedah collected three points from Shah Alam after a seven goals thriller against PKNS FC on Sunday. The Red Eagles recorded their second consecutive win in Liga Super this season after edging PKNP FC last week.

PKNS started well against Kedah. Faris Ramli found the net in the 30th minute to give his team the lead. However, four minutes later, Kedah were awarded a penalty, and Liridon made no mistake for the equaliser.

Mahali Jasuli put PKNS ahead again with a fine goal in the 46th minute. But Liridon's strike in the 57th minute levelled the score again. Then in the 67th minute, K.Reuben accidentally slotted the ball into his own net from an attempt by Baddrol Bakhtiar.

Muhammad Afif Farhan scored a wonderful goal in the added time to give Kedah a comfortable 4-2 advantage. The never-say-die Mahali scored another goal for PKNS in the last minute but was not enough to deny another win for the Red Eagles. Kedah moved up to 6th place in Liga Super, PKNS wasted their opportunity and remain outside the Top 3.
