KELANTAN HAMMER PENANG IN BATU KAWAN

Penang failed to maintain their winning momentum at home after lost to Kelantan with 1-5 score at State Stadium in Batu Kawan on Saturday. Mohamad Ghaddar took the Red Warriors to two goals up to take the lead in the 18th and 20th minutes. Syukur Saidin reduced the deficit for the home team with a fine finish in the 35th minutes. The first half ended with Penang trailing the game by one goal deficit.

Second half resumed with Kelantan taking the game more aggressively. Lapses of concentration proved costly for Penang after Mohamad Ghaddar manage added two more goals for Kelantan in the 56th and 76th minutes. Kelantan youngster, Muhd Danial Ashraf netted the fifth goal for Kelantan two minutes before the match end.
