KEDAH CONFIRM PLACE IN FA CUP LAST FOUR

MALAYSIA FA CUP (QUARTERFINALS)
PKNP 1 - KEDAH 0
*Kedah win with 6-2 agregate

Kedah denied PKNP FC from claiming a big win to seal their place in the FA Cup last four. The home side who lost 1-6 in the first leg match in Alor Setar were determined to create a surprise. Kedah were stunned by a Shahrel Fikri Fauzi strike just 10 minutes after kick-off. However, the visitors were quick to settle down and control the situation.

Kedah tried to attack back, but Ahmad Asyraaf Omar was in great form to keep PKNP's unbeaten run at home record continues. PKNP gave their best, but the result in the first leg proved to be a mountain too high for the Perak-based club. Kedah will face Terengganu in the semi-final, knowing that the East Coast side will be tougher opponents than PKNP.
