VIOBA BLUES WIN AT HOME OF WARRIORS

MRL DIVISION 2: HOME OF WARRIORS 7 - VIOBA BLUES 8

VIOBA Blues earned a good start in Malaysia Rugby League Division 2 after a narrow 8-7 win over the Home Of Warriors in Kuala Pilah on Saturday. The VI Oldboys took advantage in the heavy downpour to control the first half. The home side were struggling to find their pace as Mohammad Aqil Mahat scored VIOBA's first penalty after ten minutes. Wan Ameer Naqiuddin pulled his team further with a try eleven minutes later.

The Warriors looked more organize after the break. They made some good attempts and got a try in the 57th minute through Muhammad Afit Haqimie. The fullback made no mistake from the spot to reduce the deficit. VIOBA held tight as Home Of Warriors went all out. The score remained until the final whistle and VIOBA walked away with a deserved win.

In other Division 2 matches, Navy Orca was riding high after beating the Jokers 15 - 3. The Kelleys is still battling to find out why the results are not coming, especially when they lost to UTP Drillers 10 - 13.
