CARLA SUAREZ TO MAKE DEBUT APPEARANCE AT ALYA MALAYSIAN OPEN

Carla Suarez Navarro is hoping to return strongly and make an immediate impact on her debut appearance in the ALYA WTA Malaysian Open at TPC Kuala Lumpur from February 27th to March 5th. The world no 14 has been recovering from a shoulder injury. She has only made one appearance so far this season at the Australian Open.

The 28-year- old player is almost unbeatable on her day and if she can play to form in Kuala Lumpur, she will definitely be one of the contenders for the women's singles title. Fans are hoping the two-time tour winner to use the ALYA WTA Malaysian Open as a platform to regain her old form. Suarez Navarro has made 10 career finals since turning professional in 2003 but finished runner-up in eight of them. She achieved her career high ranking of World No 6 in February last year after winning the Qatar Open.
