RONALDINHO SINKS SELANGOR IN SHAH ALAM

LIGA SUPER: PKNS 5 - SELANGOR 3

PKNS turned out stronger over neighbour Selangor, after two defeats in their earlier matches against Felda United and Kelantan. Selangor suffered their first defeat in Liga Super this season.

The Red Giants started-off positively in the afternoon kick-off and grabbed the lead in the 2nd minute of the match through the youngster Muhammad Syahmi Safari. However, E Elavarasan's men overcame with two goals in five minutes. Started with the equalizer goal by Patrick Ronaldinho in the 20th minute and followed by Safee Sali five minutes later. The scores only remained for three minutes before Red Giant's striker, Forkey Doe levelled. But Patrick Ronaldinho had again put PKNS in front 3-2 just three minutes before the half-time.

Two minutes into the second half, Red Giant's problems grew when Matias Nicolas Hadwa netted for the fourth that gave some breathing space for PKNS. Forkey Doe had reduced the deficit in the 55th minute, following confusion in the PKNS's defence. Patrick Ronaldinho completed his treble in the 57th minute of the match. He headed home past Selangor's goalkeeper, Norazlan.  The match also saw, Red Giant's youngster, Adam Nor Azlin was red carded in the 70th minute.  As a result Red Giants were reduced to 10 men until the final whistle.
