KEDAH STUN PERAK IN IPOH

MALAYSIA FA CUP: PERAK 0 - KEDAH 2

Kedah won the northern derby of third round Malaysia FA Cup between Kedah and Perak in Ipoh Stadium last night.  Kedah were more dominating and organised throughout the match.  The host team instead were forced to work hard in countering visitor attacks.

Zach Anderson put Kedah in front in the 27th minute of match.  Arising from a free kick taken by Sandro Da Silva.  Zach made a brilliant move to overcome Perak's tight defenders before headed past Perak's goalkeeper.  Three minutes before half time, Perak had once again penalised and this time via import player, Ken Ilse Larson. The score remained 2-0 until the final whistle and Kedah advanced to the quarterfinals.
