TEAM MALAYSIA READY FOR ASIAN RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP

​The Malaysian Rugby will be competing against some of the best team in the region at the 2015 Asian Rugby Championship. Playing as host nation, the team has been preparing for the tournament since the beginning of April 2015.

A total of 48 players has been called up after the Malaysia Rugby Super League (MRSL) ended in March. The players are currently attending centralised training under the coach Lee Nyuk Fah and team manager, Raimi. The number of players is reduced to 32 players before finalising the 25 players squad. Japan based professional, Dineshwaran Krishnan has also returned and will team up with the stars of MRSL to carry the national duties at the championship.
 
Malaysia will host the Asian Rugby Championship on 10-16 May 2015. The venue of the tournament will be at the MBPJ Stadium in Kelana Jaya. The national team will face challenges from Thailand, UAE and Taiwan in Division Two.
