Blackhawks fought back late in the first half. Mohd Khuzaidi Abdullah sneaked through for a try and Azizan Abdul scored on the conversion. But KSDBKL had a comfortable 19-7 lead over the Blackhawks at the break.

RMAF Blackhawks came on stronger in the second half. They were more organized and displayed an improved performance. Their efforts paid off as Azizan earned another try eight minutes after the restart.

KSDBKL did not panic with the rising Blackhawks. They held on strongly and were awarded a penalty in the last ten minutes. Mohd Junaidi did not make mistake from the spot to send KSDBKL closer towards the championship.
