MARC LEISHMAN CRUISES TO CIMB CLASSIC VICTORY

Marc Leishman won the CIMB Classic in style for his fourth US PGA Tour title. The Australian carded a final-round 7-under 65 to equal the tournament's lowest overall score of 26-under 262 at the TPC Kuala Lumpur on Sunday. The 34-years-old completed his final round with four shots clear from second-placed trio Emiliano Grillo of Argentina and American duo Cheeson Hadley and Bronson Burgoon.

Leishman took home US$1.26mil for the victory and moved up to No. 2 in the FedEx Cup standings. Last year's champion Pat Perez could only manage a 74 to finish in disappointing tied 63rd. Shubhankar Sharma finished T10 at 19-under but still leads the Asian Tour Order of Merit. 2017 FedEx Cup Champion Justin Thomas carded a final-round 8-under 64 for a T5 finish, his first top-10 of the 2018-19 PGA TOUR Season.
