SELANGOR BEAT T-TEAM IN SELAYANG

LIGA SUPER: SELANGOR 4 - T-TEAM 2

Selangor earned three valuable points in the Super League after beating T-Team 4-2 at Selayang Stadium. It is their fifth win in 14 matches and remained at 8th position in the league table. 

The win did not comes easy for the home side. Both team failed to find the net in the first 45 minutes despite plenty of opprtunities. Muhammad Syahmi Safari broke the duck for Selangor after eight minutes into the second half. Forkey Doe doubled the lead two minutes later.

Dilshod Sharofetdinov reduced the deficit in the 72ns minutes, but Rufino Segovia scored Selangor's third ten minutes later. Muhammad Syahmi added another in the 85th minute before Yannick N'Djeng scored T-team's second goal two minutes before the full time.

SSTMI STRONG DETERMINATION WINS BANK MUAMALAT MELAKA 10S

Sekolah Sukan Tengku Mahkota Ismail  (SSTMI Tsunami) won the  Melaka International Rugby 10s  after defeating  Muamalat Bullets  19-17 in the Open Cup Final Match. The young  Tsunami  players displayed a great fighting spirit to stun the more experience opponents in a nail-biting finale. Coached by  Syed Shazril Syed Mahadzir  and  Syahir Asraf Rosli , the SSTMI boys showed their class to compete against international players. They beat  KL Tigers  12-0 in the quarterfinals before taming  Muamalat Bazooka  24-10 in the last four. In the veteran category,  Melaka High School Oldboys  beat  SDAR Alumni  12-0 to claim the title.  ASAS Veterans  settled for third after beating  SMSS Oldboys  19-7 in the Plate Final. FRANCE CLAIM FIRST OLYMPIC GOLD IN STYLE

France  won their first gold medal at the 2024  Paris Olympic Games  in the most incredible style. In the men's rugby sevens final, they defeated the two-time Olympic winners,  Fiji , 28–7. Fiji won gold in 2016, and did it again in 2020 and were unbeaten in 17 games of Olympic competition. Antoine Dupont  was simply inspirational as France claimed their first Olympics gold medal in rugby at the Stade de France. The Olympic gold medal is the latest addition to his Six Nations title with France 15s, two European Rugby Champions Cups, and four Top 14 victories with club Toulouse. The 27-year-old is now widely regarded as one of the country’s best ever athletes. South Africa  bagged the men's rugby sevens bronze after some late scare.
