PKNS BEAT SECOND PLACE PERAK TO FINISH THIRD IN LIGA SUPER

Perak completed their Liga Super 2018 campaign with a creditable second place finish despite losing to PKNS in their last match. The Red Ants stunned them with a 4-1 victory at the Shah Alam Stadium to finish third.

Bruno Matos gave the hosts an early lead after just two minutes into the game. However, Gilmar da Silva equalised for the Perak nine minutes later. PKNS went ahead again in the 39th minute through Rafael Ramazotti's goal and grab the half time advantage.

After the break, Perak could not find an answer against the confident home side. Matos found the net again in the 78th minute before Romel Morales sealed the victory in the injury time.

Though, the Bos Gaurus were lucky as the two teams with the chance to overtake them also stumbled at the final hurdle.
