HONG KONG AND CHINA SECURE ASIA RUGBY U20 SEVENS TITLES

Hong Kong's Mens bagged the Asia Rugby U20 Sevens for the fifth time after a 5-0 victory over South Korea in the final. South Korea did not went down easily as they held the host until Liam Doherty scored a late try right before the end.

Hong Kong's Mens had an excellent run over the two days at Kings Park. They stayed unbeaten and topped their group before defeating Singapore 19-0 in the semifinals, to set up the the final showdown against South Korea. The home side conceded just one try against South Korea during their group match which they won 19-5. South Korea's Mens threw everything they had to stop them in the final, but they controlled the pressure brilliantly.

China won the Women category after thrashing Hong Kong 33-0 in the final. The Chinese womens were in a different class as dominated the tournament from the start. In the final, they scored five tries to nothing and retain the title which they have won last year.
