TERENGGANU SINK PERLIS IN SERDANG

PIALA AGONG: TERENGGANU 34 - PERLIS 10

Terengganu kicked start their Agong's Cup campaign with a convincing win over Perlis at UPM Serdang. The east coast side showed a strong performance to tame their opponent 34-10.

Perlis who won their opening match against Selangor last week could not maintain good form. Two tries by Sevanaia Natuitagalua and one by Joseva Nasalo were enough to give Terengganu a comfortable 22-3 advantage at half time.

Terengganu controlled the game steadily after the break. Perlis found it hard to break the well organized Terengganu side. Tries by Muhamad Faiz Izzuddin Azmi and Muhamad Muzamir Noor Azhar took them further, although Perlis got their only try through Amirul Mukminin Amizan in the 64th minute.
