JDTII-KL TIED AT MERDEKA STADIUM

LIGA PREMIER: KUALA LUMPUR 1 - JDT II 1

Kuala Lumpur failed to utilise their home ground advantage as they were held by Johor DT II in a 1-1 draw on Friday. The City Boys started well to take control early of the match but JDT II managed to control the situations.

Hattaphon Bun An broke the duck in the 18th minute to give the home side the lead. JDT II reshaped and increased the pressure over Kuala Lumpur. Ten minutes later, it was a very unfortunate moment for Muhd Zameer Zainun who accidentally put the ball into his own net to give the visitors the equalizer. The first half ended with 1-1.

Both team returned onto the Merdeka Stadium pitch for the second half, and Kuala Lumpur started to take control. JDT II offside traps worked well to deny the City Boys from adding more goals. Kuala Lumpur could not find the winning goal, and JDT II was lucky to escape with a draw.
