BLACKHAWK TROUNCE COBRA IN QUARTERFINALS

RMAF Blackhawk booked their place in the Malaysia Rugby League (MRL) Division One semifinals after defeating Cobra Development team 32-11 on Sunday. The 2018 KL Rugby League Champions did not face much problem to eliminate the young Cobras out of the competition.

Cobra took the lead in the 10th minute through a try by Tavuto Timoci. Blackhawk equalized seven minutes later with a try by Atunaisa Livanalagi. Mohd Zulhafizi Che Din gave Blackhawk the lead in the 28th minute before Tavuto scored a penalty for Cobra to reduce the deficits.

Blackhawk returned for the second half with a slim 10-8 advantage. They took control of the match and pressured their opponent. Three tries were produced as Atunaisa, Alekesio Vakarorogo, and Mohd Suhaimi Ismail sealed their place in the last four. Cobra may have lost the match today, but they surely have a good future.
