PKNS BEAT KELANTAN IN SHAH ALAM

LIGA SUPER: PKNS 1 – KELANTAN 0

PKNS FC bounced back into the Liga Super title race with a 1-0 win over Kelantan last Friday. The Red Ants were beaten 4-3 by Kedah in their previous match but showed positive attitudes to get back on track in their 2018 campaign.

Both sides played attacking football from the start. Mohd Ghaddar almost gives Kelantan the lead in the 7th minute, but his effort was denied by PKNS's goalkeeper, Mohd Shahril Saari. PKNS also had an opportunity in the 13th minute, but Khairul Fahmi Che Mat saved a Faris Ramli's goal attempt. However, five minutes before the break Faris finally broke the duck by scoring from Jonathan Acosta's cross.

Kelantan displayed more determination in the second half. They had a fair share of posession with the home side. However, K.Rajagopal's back line were very organized and hard to break. They were solid to claim another three points at Stadium Shah Alam.
