KELANTAN WINS IN KOTA BHARU

MALAYSIA CUP: KELANTAN 2 - TERENGGANU 0

Kelantan sent their neighbour Terengganu to the bottom of group C after their 2-0 win at Stadium Sultan Muhammad IV, Kota Bharu. The Red Warriors who are looking for their first win in this campaign controlled the game from the kick-off. 

Their hard work finally paid off in the 10th minutes as Dickson Nwakaeme headed in for Kelantan's first from a Badhri Radzi pass. Then Terengganu struggled to find an equaliser, but the home denfence was rock steady. The first half ended with Kelantan in front with a goal lead.

The second half saw both teams not giving up to get 3 points from the match. However, disaster arrived again for Terengganu in the 74th minute, Vincent Bikana brought down Nwakaeme at the edge of the penalty box. Zairo Anuar Zalani stepped up to smash the freekick into the top corner of Terengganu's goal. Kelantan held on for the remaining of the match and collected 3 points at their home ground.
