RHINOZ WARRIORS RISE TO CLAIM SELAYANG 10S GLORY

Ten clubs and one unforgettable day of rugby! Rhinoz Warriors celebrated a memorable double achievement by organising the second edition of RW Selayang 10s and lifting the Ahmad Zahiri Trophy at IIUM Pride Park on 17 October 2026.

The tournament brought together 10 competitive clubs, up from eight in its inaugural edition in 2025. With high-profile teams, exciting talents and more supporters filling the venue, the atmosphere was electric from start to finish.

Rhinoz Warriors battled past KKB Armourdillo 12-7 in the semifinals to book their place in the final. Taipan Raiders secured their spot with a commanding 17-0 victory over IIUM Mustang.


The final delivered another intense battle, with Rhinoz Warriors eventually overcoming Taipan Raiders 5-0 to claim the coveted Cup championship on home ground.

The excitement continued across the remaining finals. IIUM Mustang claimed the Plate title after winning a sudden-death penalty against KKB Armourdillo following a 0-0 draw.

Home of Warriors defeated Red Head 7-0 to win the Bowl, while ASTA Rugby captured the Shield with a 12-0 victory over Supark Grizzly. Shah Alam Rovers completed the celebrations with an impressive 24-5 win against Impact Old Boys in the Spoon final.



Five players were also recognised for their outstanding performances, including Cup champions' player Muhamad Haririe of Rhinoz Warriors.

Selayang Municipal Councillor Ahmad Zahiri presented prizes alongside Laundrybar's Muhammad Syamim and Rhinoz Warriors President Musli Mat Isa.

With growing participation, passionate supporters and quality rugby throughout the day, RW Selayang 10s has taken another significant step forward.

VIOBA BLUES Vioba Blues etched their name deeper into Kuala Lumpur rugby folklore by clinching a third consecutive KLR League title, completing another dominant and unbeaten campaign in the KLR League 2025, the annual rugby championship organised by the Kuala Lumpur Rugby Union . The son of Kuala Krai passed away on May 10 while travelling home to Kelantan on an express bus. After stopping at Hentian Merapoh for lunch, the late Myko was reportedly struggling to breathe.
