BLACKHAWKS BEAT KL TIGERS IN BELLAMY

RMAF Blackhawk claimed their first win of the season after beating KL Tigers in Malaysia Rugby League (MRL) Division One match on Saturday. The Blackhawks took the advantage of playing at the Bellamy Ground on Saturday to secure a convincing 34-7 victory over the Tigers.

Blackhawk opened the scoring just after two minutes into the game. A try by Atunaisa Livanalagi followed by Mohd Suhaimi Ismail's conversion put them into the driving seat. Alekesio Vakarorogo got another coverted try in the 12th minute to wake up the Tigers.

KL Tigers got their first try in the 16th minute to keep their chances alive. Two more tries in by Alekesio and Atunaisa gave Blackhawk a comfortable 24-7 lead at the break.

Both teams were quite stubborn in the second half. However, the Blackhawks managed to get two more tries in the 70th and 77th minutes. It was not a good start for the Tigers, but the Air Force men really deserved the win.
