GUAM BEAT CHINA TO WIN ASIA RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP DIV III EAST

Guam displayed superiority in rugby over China as the bagged the Asia Rugby Championship Division III. They cruised to victory after a 52-12 win in the final to claim the title. After a convincing 66-12 win over Brunei on Tuesday, Guam went into the final with a great form.

Four tries by Chris Sgro put Guam on to the right track for the championship. They were 31-0 up just after the first 25 minutes into the final. China fought back in the second half with two tries by Xuzeng Wang and Ratu Totivi Rakainaviti Ralulu, but Guam were in complete control as they pulled away to victory.
