TERENGGANU IS THE NEW NATIONAL SEVENS CHAMPION

MALAYSIA NATIONAL SEVENS CHAMPIONSHIP (FINAL)
TERENGGANU 12 - KELANTAN 7

Terengganu won the Malaysia's National Sevens Championship for the first time after beating Kelantan 12-7 in the final match at Gong Badak Sports Complex yesterday. The home team showed determination from the start and scored two tries and a conversion in the first half. 

Kelantan fought back in the second half but can only managed to score a try and a conversion. Terengganu held on until the final whistle to lift the Ung Khek Chow trophy for the first time.

Perak took the third place after defeating Sabah 27-12 in the 3rd/4th placing match. In the Under-19 category, Kelantan claimed the Milo Cup after winning 29-15 over Kuala Lumpur the final.
