Penang fought back from a goal down to earn a dramatic draw against JDT with 1-1 score at City Stadium last night. Jorge Diaz put the visitors ahead in 11th minutes after receiving a cross from Azamuddin Akil.

Four minutes later, a glancing header from Reinaldo Lobo's almost put Penang for an equalizer but the ball is just an inches away over the crossbar. Trailing with one goal down in second half, Penang finally had an equalizer through Mohd Fitri Omar beautiful strike in the 60th minutes. Bojan Hodak was pull of praises with the team after collecting seven points from three match played.

The  Kuching Rugby Football Club  (KRFC) Blackcatz emerged victorious in the highly anticipated  Song Kheng Hai Sevens  rugby tournament, claiming the title after a decisive 26-12 victory over  Asajaya RC  in the Cup Final. The match, held at the Song Kheng Hai ground, showcased the skill and determination of both teams, but the  Blackcatz  proved to be the dominant force throughout the competition. The road to the finals saw KRFC demonstrate their prowess, having secured a commanding 25-0 win against  Mukah Rugby  in the semifinals. Muamalat Bullets proved once again why they are one of the fiercest forces in Malaysian rugby, clinching the PULAPOL 10s title with a commanding 19-7 victory over hosts PULAPOL KL in the Cup final. The two-day tournament, held at the Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre on 28 and 29 June 2025, featured 16 top teams from across the country battling for supremacy, but none could match the firepower and flair of the Bullets.
