TERENGGANU BEAT PAHANG TO LIGHT UP THE CHANCES

After gaining a comfort victory with 34-5 score against Kuala Lumpur last week, Pahang fail to continue their perfect run after Terengganu give them a hard lesson in their second match in Group D at UKM field in Bangi which put Pahang level with Terengganu with 3 points but the turtles have an advantage with a game to play.

Pahang looks dangerous in first ten minutes after flyhalf, Badrul Hisham Basri converting two penalties which gave the Tok Gajah an early lead with 6-0 score.



Terengganu begin to run the show after winger Muhammad Syafiq Mohd Zairi has successfully complete a try and a conversion by flyhalf Lasero Sautu two minutes later put Terengganu ahead with 7-6 score. Lasero put more pressure to Pahang with his in penalties in 37th minutes and the game ended in the first half with Terengganu taking the lead with 10-6 score.



Terengganu looks solid in second half after Spete Davega hit with a try and Mohammad Faiz conversion gave Terengganu 17-10 score. A heavy rain start to downpour the field but it didn't hold Terengganu to give more. Ten minutes later, Mohammad Faiz added another 5 with a try and seven minutes before end Lasero Sautu gave another 5 with a try and the result hold until end with Terengganu ended the game with 27-10 score.

Terengganu will take on Kuala Lumpur next Saturday and a win will put them in the right track to go to the next level.
