LIPSKY CLAIMS FIRST EUROPEAN TOUR TITLE

American David Lipsky won his maiden European Tour win by beating Graeme Storm in the first hole of a play-off at the Omega European Masters. Playing the last again, Lipsky stayed safe for a par four while overnight leader Graeme Storm was unable to recover from a wayward tee shot that missed the fairway and came to rest against a wall.

The 26 year old from Los Angeles took a difficult route to the 18th hole, via a fairway bunker and thick rough short of the green, before sinking a 2-foot putt. The 26-year-old from Los Angeles earned a career-best $497,000 payday for his second victory. Lipsky opted to play on the Asian Tour after graduating from Northwestern University and now tops its money list with this victory.

Another American, Brooks Koepka, and Tyrrell Hatton of England tied for third trailing by one shot after shooting 67 and 65, respectively. Koepka shared the lead until making bogey-5 at the 17th, after his tee shot found a bunker.
