An incredible Maracana atmosphere spurred Brazil to their third consecutive Confederations Cup, with a brilliant 3-0 win against World Cup holders Spain. Fred grabbed a brace and Neymar scored yet another brilliant goal.

Sergio Ramos missed a penalty with his side three down and Gerard Pique then saw red with around 20 minutes remaining. The Maracana celebrated the win with gusto, and the host nation will be hoping that Thiago Silva will lift another iconic trophy in this stadium in just over 12 months' time.

SSTMI STRONG DETERMINATION WINS BANK MUAMALAT MELAKA 10S

Sekolah Sukan Tengku Mahkota Ismail  (SSTMI Tsunami) won the  Melaka International Rugby 10s  after defeating  Muamalat Bullets  19-17 in the Open Cup Final Match. The young  Tsunami  players displayed a great fighting spirit to stun the more experience opponents in a nail-biting finale. Coached by  Syed Shazril Syed Mahadzir  and  Syahir Asraf Rosli , the SSTMI boys showed their class to compete against international players. They beat  KL Tigers  12-0 in the quarterfinals before taming  Muamalat Bazooka  24-10 in the last four. In the veteran category,  Melaka High School Oldboys  beat  SDAR Alumni  12-0 to claim the title.  ASAS Veterans  settled for third after beating  SMSS Oldboys  19-7 in the Plate Final. In an exhilarating display of skill and determination, PDRM rugby team triumphed over Johor with a decisive 43-29 victory to secure their fifth Agong Cup title. The final, held at the UiTM Stadium in Shah Alam, showcased not only the talent of the players but also the strategic brilliance of the coaching staff. The match began with both teams demonstrating their prowess, resulting in a closely contested first half. PDRM held a slim lead of 19-17 as they headed into the break, setting the stage for an intense second half.
