DAVETA RUGBY CLUB RETAIN COBRA 10'S CROWN

Daveta Rugby Club successfully retained the Cobra 10's title at the MBPJ Stadium, Malaysia on Sunday. The Cup Final match against New Zealand's Global Barbarians was stopped due to lightning storm, and The Fijians were declared as the winner based on points accumulated in the group stage. Daveta topped Group A with 140 points while Global Barbarians had 59 points in Group D.

Daveta hammered Varsity Vipers 54-5 in the last four to reach the final, while Global Barbarians beat Canberra Barbarians 12-7 to challenge for the title. A total of 15 teams from Malaysia, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland and South Africa took part in the 48th edition of the Cobra 10's. 

SA Tigers of South Africa claimed the Plate title after defeating Projecx Waterboys from Scotland 14-10. Australian's NS Silverback beat Fiji Lions 26-14 to bag the Bowl title.
