KL SARACENS CLAIM THIRD PLACE IN NICC

NICC: KL SARACENS 20 - PANTHERS BLOWPIPES 19

KL Saracens completed their National Inter Club Championship (NICC) with third place finishing after beating Panthers Blowpipes 20-19 in Bangi. The Blowpipes blew their chances after Saracens came back from five points adrift to win the match. Panthers Blowpipes took the first half lead after a 36th minute try by Lowane Sovatabua Taukeisalili. Saracens found no answer to it in the first 40 minutes.

Panthers Blowpipes restored the lead in the 75th minute from a try by Lowane and Jope's conversion. It was not over until it is really over for the Saracens. Cheng Conor Gee Kein broke through in the last minute of the match for a try and Matthew turned hero again as he delivered the most crucial points from the conversion.
