KEEGAN BRADLEY TAKES THE LEAD IN KUALA LUMPUR

Keegan Bradley took over the lead in the CIMB Classic today after making 14 birdies and just one bogey over 36 holes played. The 27-year old American first 36-hole total of 131 is two off his career-best 129 at the 2013 HP Byron Nelson Championship that featured a first-round 60. Bradley is a three-time PGA Tour winner, including the 2011 PGA Championship . His last victory came at the 2012 World Golf Championships-Bridgestone . The 2011 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year is making his first appearance at the CIMB Classic.   First day leader, Ryan Moore completed his second day at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club ( KLGCC ) with a par 72. He failed to repeat the stunning 9-under par 63 in the first round. However, that brilliant opening day performance keep his chances alive at second place, with 4 strokes behind the tournament leader.  Second-round Leaderboard 1. Keegan Bradley 65-66 (-13) 2. RYAN MOORE LEADS IN KUALA LUMPUR AFTER SETTING NEW COURSE RECORD

In his third appearance at CIMB Classic , Ryan Moore took the lead at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club ( KLGCC ) after setting a new course record with 9-under-63. After a bogey start at first hole, the two time winner of PGA Tour recovered with birdies at all four par-3s. Moore is so delighted with his current form where he recorded 4 twos in a single championship round.    At the end of the first day, three time PGA Winner Keegan Bradley is just 2 strokes behind the leader while eight time PGA winner Sergio Garcia made a late charge to stay just a single stroke behind Bradley. Tournament favourite, Phil Mickelson could only settle with 1 under 71. The American is the highest ranked player in the field. ADAM SCOTT SETS NEW COURSE RECORD TO WIN GRAND SLAM

Adam Scott won the PGA Grand Slam of Golf with a new course record at Port Royal 7-under 64. The Masters champion claimed victory with two shots over U.S. Open champion Justin Rose . Scott trailed by 4 shots with 10 holes to play. He eagled at 17th hole to overtake Rose. The Australian finished at 8-under 134 to collect the pink jacket to go along with the green jacket he won at Augusta. Scott used a 6-iron which was also used on the second playoff hole at Augusta National when he defeated Angel Cabrera . PGA champion Jason Dufner , who started two shots behind, fell off the pace quickly. He closed with a 70 to finish alone in third, five shots behind. Padraig Harrington , a three-time major winner, shot 71 and finished eight behind. Scott also earned an honorary membership at Port Royal for setting the new course record. PAHANG TAKES FRONT SEAT

MALAYSIA CUP: PAHANG 3 - SARAWAK 1 Pahang snatched an early advantage in the Malaysia Cup semi-finals with a 3-1 win over Sarawak in the first leg match at the Darul Makmur Stadium on Saturday night. It was a deserving victory for The Elephants who played confidently from the start of the first half. They found the net three times in 10 minutes. Mohd Azamuddin Akil ( Alex ) opened the scoring in the 29th minute before he added his second of the night in the 33rd minutes. The visitor tried to raise their games after the second goal. However, Argentinian Matias Conti scored a wonder goal to give the home side a comfortable 3-0 lead in the 38th minute. Sarawak did not give up and responded to the pressure. A deflected effort from Mohd Shahrol Saperi in the 40th minute kept Premier League champions Sarawak in contention for the return leg which takes place on Oct 26 at the State Stadium in Kuching . UPHILL TASK FOR ATM AS KELANTAN WINS FIRST LEG

MALAYSIA CUP: ATM 1 - KELANTAN 2 Kelantan took a big step in the Malaysia Cup semi-final after a 2-1 win over ATM at the Selayang Stadium tonight. The defending champions will only need just a draw in the second leg match in Kota Bharu to qualify into the final. Kelantan looked very confident from the start despite playing an away game. Meanwhile ATM was without suspended central defender Amirizdwan Taj Tajuddin . It took just 15 minutes for Kelantan's skipper, Mohd Badhri Radzi to punish the home side unsettled defence. The goal increased the pressure on ATM. However, Christie Jayaseelan equalised four minutes later. The young Gladiator hit a low shot pass Khairul Fahmi Che Mat after taking the ball past Shakir Saari . Both teams went into the break with the score tied at 1-1. Kelantan continue to pressure the home team right after the match resumed. They created a series of opportunities but striker Dickson Nwakaeme was tightly marked by ATM defenders. S

WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: ENGLAND 2 - POLAND 0 Wayne Rooney scored his scored his ninth goal in 10 games to place England on the right direction to World Cup 2014 , and Steven Gerrard added a second to send a warning to other qualified nation how dangerous the Three Lions can be in Brazil .  It was a breathless and at times nerve-jangling confrontation with Poland at Wembley. Though, England finally got a relief when Rooney scored from Leighton Baines ' cross four minutes before the break. There were more than 20,000 strong Polish supporter in the stadium to make the home team feel a little nervous. England were then spurning a succession of chances. It took a captain's intervention from Gerrard two minutes from time to ensure England will take their place on the greatest stage next summer. Manager Roy Hodgson leapt to the air in jubilation, becoming only the sixth Englishman to take his country into a World Cup finals. Source: Liverpool

CHARL SHWARTZEL PIP DARREN CLARKE TO WIN CHINA MASTERS

Charl Schwartzel claims the China Masters after closing with a 4-under 68 to deny Darren Clarke first victory since 2011 Open Championship . The South African had a 9-under 279 total on Nanshan International's Montgomerie Course . He earned $180,000 in the OneAsia Tour event. Clarke held the lead for much of the round after Liang Wen-Chong , who shared the overnight lead with the Ulsterman, bogeyed the fourth and five holes before Clarke birdied the sixth to get to nine under. The 2011 Masters winner, Schwartzel posted the pressure on the final pair when he birdied 12, 15 and 16 and parred in to set the clubhouse target at eight under. He mastered tricky conditions on the final day over the Montgomerie Course to close with a four-under 68 and pip Clarke and defending champion Liang by a single shot.
