Indian hotshot Gaganjeet Bhullar lifted the Macao Open trophy for the second time in his career after closing with a three-under-par 68 to complete a stunning wire-to-wire victory on Sunday. The 29-year-old Bhullar fired seven birdies against two bogeys and a double-bogey to win by three shots with a 13-under-par 271 total for his eighth Asian Tour victory at the Macau Golf and Country Club . Bhullar took home a winner's prize purse of US$90,000 and became only the third player after Australian Scott Hend (2013 and 2015) and Zhang Lian-wei of China (2001-2002) to win the storied event twice since the tournament was inaugurated in 1998. Filipino ace Angelo Que battled to a 69 to share second place with Ajeetesh Sandhu of India, who posted a 70, at the US$500,000 Asian Tour event. FAM CUP FINAL: SIME DARBY 2(3) - UKM FC 2(2) Sime Darby lifted the FAM Cup despite being held 2-2 by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia  (UKM FC) in the second leg of the final at the MBPJ Stadium on Sunday. The draw was enough for Sime Darby to win their second FAM Cup with 3-2 aggregate after winning 1-0 in the first leg match at Paroi last week. The last time they lifted the cup was in 2010. Hasrul Nurkholis Hasim gave UKM an early lead before Nazrul Kamaruzaman and Tunku Noor Hidayat Tunku Ishak scored either side of the half-time break for Sime Darby. Faidzol Fazreen Shamsudin set up a nervous final few moments for Sime Darby with an 89th-minute equaliser. However both teams already assured of promotion to next year's Premier League. UKM FC earned their first ever promotion into the Premier League, while Sime Darby are returning back just one year after being relegated.

Reigning FedEx Cup champion and PGA Tour Player of the Year, Justin Thomas once again got his season off to a hot start, winning in his second start at the inaugural edition of The CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges . Thomas narrowly missed an eagle putt on the 72nd hole to win, but earned his way into a playoff with Australian, Marc Leishman . After halving with pars on the 18th due to wayward drives, Thomas made a stress-free birdie to win in the first playoff of his PGA Tour career. The win, which brings his career total to seven, didn't come easy, as strong winds whipped Jeju Island, Korea all weekend. Thomas' win comes at the age of 24 years, 5 months and 29 days.   Thomas earned 500 FedEx Cup points, which moves him to third in the standings behind Pat Perez and Brendan Steele . FAM CUP: UKM FC 0 - SIME DARBY 1 Sime Darby FC are on a brink to win the 2017 FAM Cup competition after they sealed a valuable win last night. The Klang Valley outfit took a 1-0 win over UKM FC in the first leg of the FAM Cup final at Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi, Seremban. Muhammad Zul Fahmi Awang secured the win for Sime Darby FC after the striker beat UKM FC keeper Mohamad Khairi Hassan with a fine finish in the 53rd minutes. Pat Perez completed a stunning victory at the US$7 million CIMB Classic by closing with a three-under-par 69 to win by four shots on Sunday. The American made three straight birdies from the second hole before a bogey on six was offset by another birdie on eight. He parred the next 10 holes to secure his first win in Asia and third on the PGA Tour with a winning total of 24-under-par 264. Keegan Bradley of the United States posted a flawless 67 to finish second, his best result at the CIMB Classic while Xander Schauffele (72) and Sung Kang (71) of Korea settled for a share of third place at the TPC Kuala Lumpur . Wolmer Murillo of Venezuela survived a five-way play-off to win his maiden Asian Development Tour (ADT) title at the US$100,000 Combiphar Players Championship on Saturday. The 36-year-old Murillo was the last man standing against Chinese Taipei's Wang Wei-lun , South African Mathiam Keyser , American John Catlin and William Harrold of England after they were all tied on seven-under-par 277 in regulation play at the New Kuta Golf , Bali. The decisive play-off, which was played only on the par-four ninth hole, saw Catlin, Harrold and Keyser bow out on the first extra hole after making bogeys while Wang and Murillo settled for pars. The duo then went the extra distance before Murillo sealed the deal with a six-foot birdie putt on the fourth extra hole to defeat Wang, who parred the same hole.
