KSDBKL BOUNCE BACK TO BEAT SSTMI

MRSL 2016: KS DBKL 19 - SSTMI TSUNAMI 18

KS DBKL made a comeback before claiming a one point win over SSTMI Tsunami in Malaysia Rugby Super League on Sunday. The Kuala Lumpur side were 11-13 down after the first half and had to battle until last minute before taking the hard-earned victory

SSTMI were looking good through out the first half. Two tries by Amirul Aiman Ihsan Che Abas and Muhamad Nafzan Bakri Md Roni plus a drop goal by Mohd Saizul Hafiz Md Noor gave them the advantage. KS DBKL got just one try by Lemeki Tulele and two penalties by Aise Bici Druma to keep their chances alive.

KS DBKL were quick to get back in front after the break. A penalty was not wasted by Lemeki to put KS DBKL into the driving seat. But SSTMI were not and easy opponent. Another try by Mohd Saizul Hafiz after the hour mark gave them a good chance to win the match.

However, it was a cruel ending for the Southern team. Mohd Amirul Fahmy Mohd Zaki broke through for a try in the final minute of the game sealed the win for KS DBKL. SSTMI could not keep their lead, and KS DBKL snatched the victory from under their noses.
