STJ OLDBOYS WIN KRS BOWL FINAL

STJ Oldboys played some great rugby today when they defeated Ansara 34-0 in the KRS Rugby League bowl final. The Oldboys dominated the match at German-Malaysian Institute Stadium from the start. They lead 18-0 at the end of first half. 

Anchored by 2 veteran players, STJ Oldboys continued their fine play in the second half. Their back lines were solid and forwards were quick and accurate too. 38 years old player, Nazbiha had 2 tries as they built the difference. Team captain, Musli Mat Isa lifted the cup for STJ Oldboys first ever championship triumph.

The defending champions were in complete control to deny their opponent from snatching the championship away. Mobster started the final without a number of key players due to Agong Cup's preparation. FRANCE CLAIM FIRST OLYMPIC GOLD IN STYLE

France  won their first gold medal at the 2024  Paris Olympic Games  in the most incredible style. In the men's rugby sevens final, they defeated the two-time Olympic winners,  Fiji , 28–7. Fiji won gold in 2016, and did it again in 2020 and were unbeaten in 17 games of Olympic competition. Antoine Dupont  was simply inspirational as France claimed their first Olympics gold medal in rugby at the Stade de France. The Olympic gold medal is the latest addition to his Six Nations title with France 15s, two European Rugby Champions Cups, and four Top 14 victories with club Toulouse. The 27-year-old is now widely regarded as one of the country’s best ever athletes. South Africa  bagged the men's rugby sevens bronze after some late scare. SSTMI STRONG DETERMINATION WINS BANK MUAMALAT MELAKA 10S

Sekolah Sukan Tengku Mahkota Ismail  (SSTMI Tsunami) won the  Melaka International Rugby 10s  after defeating  Muamalat Bullets  19-17 in the Open Cup Final Match. The young  Tsunami  players displayed a great fighting spirit to stun the more experience opponents in a nail-biting finale. Coached by  Syed Shazril Syed Mahadzir  and  Syahir Asraf Rosli , the SSTMI boys showed their class to compete against international players. They beat  KL Tigers  12-0 in the quarterfinals before taming  Muamalat Bazooka  24-10 in the last four. In the veteran category,  Melaka High School Oldboys  beat  SDAR Alumni  12-0 to claim the title.  ASAS Veterans  settled for third after beating  SMSS Oldboys  19-7 in the Plate Final.
