Shanshan Feng is no stranger to the winner's circle as this is her fifth win on the LPGA Tour and first since winning the 2014 Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia . Feng from China shot a final round 67 to grab her first victory of 2016 season as she defeated Suzann Pettersen by three-strokes. Feng started the day with a bogey on the first hole but recovered nicely with birdies on two of her first five holes, finishing out the round with three birdies on the back nine. The eventual winner started the day with a two-shot lead after a 64 in the third round. Feng has been one of the LPGA's hottest players of late, with top-4 finishes in each of her last four starts. Justin Thomas won his second CIMB Classic title at TPC Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Thomas finished at 23-under-par 265, three shots ahead of closest rival Hideki Matsuyama of Japan. Overnight leader Anirban Lahiri, who led the field by four shots into the final round, lost ground after a quadruple bogey on the third hole. Anirban finished tied with Derek Fathauer for third place at 19 under par. Laid in fifth is Marc Leishman (66) who finished one shot away from Lahiri and Fathauer while Keegan Bradley (68) one spot below him at 16-under. Last year's champions, Labuan Marlin finished third best team as they overcame SDRU Sibu 10 – 0 in the 3rd/4th placing match. KK Sharks grabbed the Plate category after winning over Blackhawks 28–7. VRC Storm beat Sipitang Hunters 10-0 to take the Bowl category. LIGA PREMIER: MELAKA UNITED 1 - SIME DARBY 1 Melaka United were officially crowned as the 2016 Malaysia Premier League champions after a 1-1 draw with league bottomers Sime Darby in their last league match here last night. Playing in front of 35,000 crowds at the Hang Jebat Stadium, Melaka United controlled most of the match but they were not in the mood for a big win. It was Sime Darby who opened scoring in the 79th minute through Mateo Roskam after several close attempts by both sides. Melaka United were awarded a free kick in the 91st minute when captain Spasojevic was brought down in Sime's half and Mohd Saiful Mustafa smacked it to the top left corner to beat goalkeeper Mohamad Redzuan Harun for the equaliser. After the match, Melaka United were officially presented the Premier League trophy by Yang diPertua Negeri Melaka, Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob.
