ALL BLACKS WIN FIRST TITLE IN HAMILTON

The All Blacks Sevens extended their record as the most successful team on home soil in the history of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series with a 27-5 defeat of France in the HSBC New Zealand Sevens Cup final. The title was New Zealand's 10th on home soil but the first in Hamilton, having won their last title in Wellington in 2016. It was also their 60th title in series history and the second of season after victory in Cape Town last month. France, playing in their first ever Cup final in New Zealand, were on the back foot early on after Tavite Veredamu was sin-binned for not being back 10 metres, All Blacks Sevens co-captain Scott Curry powered through two defenders seconds later to open the scoring. BLACK FERNS CREATE HISTORY AT NZ SEVENS

The Black Ferns Sevens continued their perfect record against Canada in Cup finals on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series to become the inaugural champions in Hamilton. This was the seventh meeting of the sides in a title decider and just like the previous six it was the Black Ferns Sevens celebrating, more so this time after the 24-7 victory saw them crowned HSBC New Zealand Sevens champions to become the third team to win a title on home soil. RUGGER DISTRICT | RUGBY EQUIPMENT It is a third Cup title in a row after their success in Dubai and Cape Town last month and extended their winning run to 13 matches against Canada, whose only win against the Black Ferns Sevens came in Sao Paulo back in February 2016. STJ HOME OF WARRIORS WIN THE FIRST TM TOUCH CHAMPIONSHIP

STJ Home of Warriors won the inaugural TM One Touch Corporate Challenge as they edged SEMSAS in the alumni grand final. The Warriors showed class to beat the SEMSAS old boys 3-2 in a thrilling match. SMS Oldboys bagged the bronze after they beat VIOBA in the third placing match. The Online Rugby Magazine Telekom Malaysia (TM) A clinched the corporate category title after a 4-2 victory over IJM in the final. After displaying good performance during the preliminary round, TM A continued their fine run in the final. Malaysia Airlines (MAS) beat Sime Darby A 2-0 to finish third in the corporate category. The inaugural TM One Touch Corporate Challenge was held at the MMU Stadium in Cyberjaya on Saturday. 12 teams participated in the two categories competition. JAZZ CAPS REMARKABLE 2019 BY WINNING THAILAND MASTERS

Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond signed off from his 2019 Asian Tour season just like the way he started when he cruised to a commanding five-shot victory at the Thailand Masters on Sunday. It has been a stunning year for the 24-year-old as he triumphed again for the second time in two weeks after closing with a six-under-par 65 at the Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club.  Jazz got off to a flying start when he won the Asian Tour’s season-opener in Singapore in January. 12 months later, he would end the year by capturing his sixth Asian Tour title and fourth this season on home soil. Jazz’s winning total of 23-under-par 261 at a venue which he won before too meant he will break into the top-40 on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), a target he had set out to achieve at the start of the week. DOUBLE VICTORIES FOR NEW ZEALAND AT CAPE TOWN SEVENS

New Zealand clinched the double at the Cape Town Sevens by winning both the women's and men's titles. The Black Ferns beat Australia 17-7 to win the women's title and secured a second consecutive victory in the World Sevens Series new season. The men's team came from behind to edge host nation South Africa 7-5 in the final. BONZER SIGNS FOR RUGBY-BUNDESLIGA TV PFORZHEIM

Mohamad Amin Jamaluddin , or simply known as Bonzer will be playing in Germany next season. The Malaysia national player has agreed to join TV 1834 Pforzheim in the Rugby Bundesliga . Bonzer has been playing for Cobra Rugby Club in the Malaysia Rugby League for 6 seasons. A talented player and has played regularly for the national team, Bonzer is ready for bigger challenges. His potential in rugby was once recognised by New Zealand club, Harbour Hawks . The Perlis-born player will bring his playing experience to his new club. TV Pforzheim is one of the top rugby club in Germany. The club was the Rugby Bundesliga champions in 2011, and won the German Rugby Union Championship in 2016. TERENGGANU EDGE SABAH TO WIN AGONG'S CUP

Terengganu won their first ever Agong's Cup title in a nail-biting finale against defending champions, Sabah . Played in heavy rain at the UPM Stadium in Serdang, the five-time winners, Sabah looked set to retain the title until the last few seconds of the match. Timoci Vunimoku turned hero for Terengganu as he delivered the winning try in the last play. Terengganu, powered by nine national players and four Fijians, made four tries and three conversions while Sabah managed two tries, one conversion and four penalties. Josaia Tokarua , Amirul Mukminin Amizan , captain Mohd Syahir Asraf Rosli and Vunimoku made the tries for Terengganu while Amirul Mukminin scored all the conversions.
