SHIV KAPUR ENDS WAIT WITH VICTORY AT PANASONIC OPEN INDIA

India's Shiv Kapur completed his lifelong dream of winning at the Delhi Golf Club when he won the Panasonic Open India with a final round four-under-par 68 on Sunday. While Kapur's two previous Asian Tour titles were won in Thailand and Chinese Taipei, the Panasonic Open India title was Kapur's first professional victory at the Delhi Golf Club, which is also his home course. The title race was evenly poised at the turn with only a single shot separating the leaders at the top of the leaderboard. But it was Kapur who eventually broke away from the chasing pack when he fired four birdies on holes 11, 12, 14 and 15 to sign off with a winning total of 17-under-par 271. JOHOR DT LIFT THE MALAYSIA CUP

PIALA MALAYSIA (FINAL) JOHOR DT 2 - KEDAH 0 Johor Darul Takzim (JDT) has won their first ever Malaysia Cup after beating rival Kedah 2-0 at the Shah Alam Stadium. After winning the Malaysia Super League in August, The Southern Tigers looked more superior as they went on to win the only trophy in the country which they had never won. JDT had only reached the prestigious Malaysia Cup final once prior to 2017 but unlike their loss to Pahang in 2014, there was no denying them the Malaysia Cup this time.  A header by Aidil Zafuan Abd Radzak gave them the lead just two minutes into the match. Kedah had a poor first half but they looked better after the break. Midfielder Baddrol Bakhtiar saw two efforts hit the post but the Red Eagles could not sustain the pressure. SUPUPRAMAI POOSIT WINS DEFENCE RAYA GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

Poosit Supupramai of Thailand claimed a sensational victory at the inaugural Defence Raya Golf Championship after closing with a three-under-par 69 on Sunday. The win was especially sweet as the 24-year-old Thai was a late entry into the US$120,000 Asian Development Tour (ADT) event as his visa was only approved on Monday. His patience eventually paid off when he won his first ADT title by one shot with a winning total of 14-under-par 202 in the event which was reduced to 54 holes due to bad weather. Luke Joy of England posted a 67 to finish second, one shot from the champion, while Wolmer Murillo (67) of Venezuela and Malcolm Kokocinski (68) of Sweden finished in a share of third place at the Defence Raya Golf and Country Club. The sweet-swinging Poosit was delighted to taste success after going through lean years where his best result was a tied fourth finish on the ADT in 2014. ANDREA DOVIZIOSO WINS 2017 MALAYSIAN GRAND PRIX

Italian rider, Andrea Dovizioso claim a dramatic win in 2017 Malaysian MotoGP race which was held at Sepang yesterday. The Ducati Corse rider keep his MotoGP world title hopes back on track after current motogp leader Marc Marquez had to settle in the fourth place. Starting on pole position, Dovizioso fell back early with number of riders appeared to struggle with a rain-soaked track. The Italian rider steadily overtook his Ducati teammate, Jorge Lorenzo and firmly took the lead with six laps to go. Marc Marquez , who started from the third row was in under pressure to wrap up the championship tussle. The Spaniard once moved up to the third which the race is led by Johann Zarco but could not maintain his spot after Dovizioso overtake him on Lap 14. Dovizioso finished 0.743s ahead of Lorenzo followed by Johann Zarco who wrapped up for the third place with 9.738s behind. PSNK-JOBS WIN TAIPING 10'S RUGBY TOURNAMENT

PSNK-Jobs showed a lot of qualities to win the 26th edition Taiping 10's rugby tournament. The Kedah side edged UPM Serdang Angels 7-5 in the Cup final to take the Lim Swee Chin Trophy for the first time. Fresh from winning the Kuching Sevens earlier this month, UPM Angels could not deny PSNK-Jobs from claiming the victory. With some experienced players like Mohd Fairuz Ab Rahman and Mohd Saizul Hafifi in the team, PSNK were solid to overcome all challengers. Home team, Taiping Tigers ETRC won the the Plate after defeating their brothers, Rain Town RC 32-0 in the final. Carnivoran Mongoose claimed the Bowl after a 7-0 win over Alor Setar Blues . CRISTIE KERR WINS SIME DARBY LPGA MALAYSIA

American Cristie Kerr holed a 36-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to close out a thrilling final round and win the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia by one shot. After a dropped shot by Kerr on the 17th, it looked as though the tournament was heading for a four-way play-off together with Danielle Kang , Jacqui Concolino and Shanshan Feng , but the seasoned pro showed her class to make the putt and claim the winner's cheque of US$ 270,000. Kerr carded an even-par 71 for the round which included four birdies, two bogeys and a double-bogey on the par-3 seventh.   Fan favourite Feng was also unable to break par on a course that she has so dominated over the years. One shot behind Feng at the start of play, the popular Chinese looked like she was out of the running with dropped shots on the 9th and 13th holes. PANUPHOL TAKES THE INDONESIA OPEN WITH FIVE SHOTS CLEAR

Thai talent Panuphol Pittayarat completed a total of 25 holes on Sunday to claim a commanding five-shot victory for his maiden Asian Tour title at the weather-hit Indonesia Open . The 24-year-old Panuphol returned in the morning to finish the remaining seven holes from his third round where he signed for a five-under-par 67 to lead by three shots heading into the final round. Panuphol traded three birdies against a bogey for an outward 34, grabbing just a one-shot edge over a fast-charging countryman Tirawat Kaewsiribandit , who closed in with four birdies, at the turn. Panuphol, however, pulled clear with three straight birdies from the 10th hole before adding two more birdies in his closing five holes for a final round 65 and a winning total of 23-under-par 265 at the Pondok Indah Golf Course .
