ISKANDAR RAIDERS SEND IIUM MUSTANG OUT OF NICC

NICC: ISKANDAR RAIDERS 31 - IIUM MUSTANGS 5 Iskandar Raiders booked their NICC semifinal berth with a comfortable 31-5 win over IIUM Mustangs . The Mustangs struggled to challenge the home side in Pasir Gudang could only make just one try at the end of the match. Iskandar Raiders opened the scorings with a try in the 21st minute by Rodeoasmera Rosli . They increased their lead before the break with another try by Amirul Adam . As the match resumed for the second half, the home side made a quick impact. Iliesa Buitiviti 's try and Hairul Asrie Haridon conversion four minutes after the restart pushed them nearer to the semis. While the Mustangs struggled for the breakthrough, Abdol Saied made two tries in 5 minutes to confirm Iskandar Raiders' place in the last four. TOP RUGBY TEAMS CLASH IN MELAKA

The historic city of Melaka is gearing up for a major sporting spectacle as the CM Cup Rugby Tournament 2025 takes place at the iconic Stadium Kubu ( Hang Tuah Stadium ) from 29–31 August. The tournament will feature five categories, with eight teams competing in each division and five teams in the Women’s category. In total, nearly 800 players, coaches, and officials are expected to gather, making this one of the biggest rugby events in Malaysia this year. The tournament is powered by the Melaka State Government as the main sponsor, with the support of MSN Melaka, MBMB, Tourism Melaka, and Perbadanan Ketua Menteri.
